Well, I've known for months (well, its probably been 2 months) that this week was going to be huge - and I was right.
Of course, on Saturday I am playing Maid of Honour while some very good friends of mine play bride and groom. I get to pretend I'm one of those girls that gets their hair done and wears a dress that they can hardly move around in.
Then on Sunday morning we begin our grand adventure to Europe. I'm beginning to feel a little more comfortable about the whole idea. Not so happy about the fact that our flight is at 9:00am which means we have to be there at 8:00am which means we have to leave home at 7:00am which means that life is horrible and I wont get any sleep between the wedding and leaving for Europe :(
But these things happen.
And just because organising a grand adventure, an honours project, and a wedding isn't enough to do - I am also applying for a job with the Antarctic division so I have to find time to address the selection criteria and write pages of stuff about how fantastic I am at doing absolutely everything. *sigh*
May get a chance to write a quick post in Melbourne on Sunday as there is quite a gap between when we get there and when we leave.
